Vocaltone digital phone box sends conversation as voice packets over the internet and at the receiving end they are reassembled. The packets may follow various paths over the internet up to the intended location. Personal and account information will never be transmitted with these packets.

4. Does Vocaltone provide Broadband internet services ?
Vocaltone does not provide internet services.
5. Can I receive calls even if I move ?
If you are moving and want to keep your phone number, simply take your Vocaltone digital phone box with you. All what you need is Broadband internet connection for Vocaltone to work. Before moving call our customer service to update your location. Upon calling emergency services (000), you need to explain your location. Read our terms of service for complete details.
6. Will I lose my inbound voicemails if my internet connection is dropped ?
No. Your voicemail is not in your phone adapter. Your voicemails are saved in our network and you can access it once the internet connection is restored. Upon receiving a Voicemail, you will receive an e-mail with your Voicemail as a sound file. Click here for default features.
7. How to make free calls from anywhere to anywhere ?
Send a second digital phone box to you love ones and make untime unlimited calls. Your love ones can call you too without spending any additional money.
8. Do I have to pay monthly charge for the second phone ?
No.
9. My computer loses internet connection all the time. Will it affect ?
Absolutely not. Most of the times, your internet connection is lost to your computer due to software issues in your computer, website you surf having difficulties or internal network issues at your home. Internet is mostly available up to your cable provider's router. Our phone is directly connected to you router/modem and it does not download web contents.
The one month free offer is applicable only for the $9.99 plan and new subscribers. Only the monthly charge is waived. All other charges apply. The first free digital box is supplied for a contract of a minimum of one year. Early terminations will be charged with 80$ other than all due amounts in the bill. 80$ will be applied for the second digital box. High speed internet is required. Call charges do not include internet charges or other charges by internet service providers. Emergency calls may be interrupted due to customer internet services. Alarms and other electronic devices may not be compatible. If you move the customer support center needs to be contacted for account changes. Failure to do so may cause emergency services to be inaccessible. Regulatory compliances are valid only for Australia. If moving, the customer is responsible to check regulatory compliances and jurisdictions in other countries.
